Orlando won the "Battle Of The Blues Bands" in Santa Barbara. The event was sponsered by The Santa Barbara Blues Society (www.sbblues.org) and I was proud to be the MC. Orlando will be going to Memphis, TN to compete in the International Blues Challenge representing The Santa Barbara Blues Society. The event at The James Joyce will be a fundraiser.

The program is a dream of mine and when I met Fruteland in 1998 I knew I had to have this program move forward. I was inspired to play old classic bluesmen after Fruteland left. Thanks Fruteland.
